A New Brotherhood Established at St. Volodymyr Parish
On November 2, at St. Volodymyr Parish in Santa Clara, a special and joyful event took place — the founding of the Brotherhood of Blessed Mykola Charnetsky and the welcoming of its first members.
Before the prayer, Fr. Roman Bobesiuk read the responsibilities of the brothers and a blessing from Most Reverend Bishop Benedict Aleksiychuk. In his message, the bishop expressed his joy about the creation of the brotherhood, wished its members fruitful service for the good of the parish and for God’s glory, and encouraged them to follow the example of their heavenly patron, Blessed Mykola Charnetsky, known for his selfless service.
After the blessing, Fr. Roman wished the brothers God’s grace to help them fulfill their calling. The event ended with the entire parish singing “Mnohaya Lita” in thanksgiving to God for the new brotherhood — a group called to prayer and service for the parish community.
