Cenacolo Community Pursues Its Mission of Healing People with Addictions and Their Families
The international community “Cenacolo” continues its ministry in Lviv, helping people struggling with addiction to drugs, alcohol, and other destructive substances to find new meaning in life through work, prayer, and life in a Christian community.
This was reported by the information department of the Krekhiv Monastery.
The community’s formation program lasts three years. It is an intensive journey of inner renewal based on Christian values, discipline, responsibility, and the support of the fraternal community.
Those who wish may share their testimonies of conversion and change in their parishes, inspiring others not to lose hope.
The community focuses particularly on families. Every Saturday at 3:30 PM, there are colloquiums (meetings to prepare for admission) for people struggling with addiction and their families. These are spaces for dialogue, support, and recognition, where a person can ask questions, hear about others’ experiences, and take the first step toward change.
The meetings are held in the Oratory building near the Church of the Intercession of the Holy Mother of God at 175 Lychakivska Street, Lviv.

“The Cenacolo community is a living response to the pain of modern people, a place where new life is born from the ruins of addiction and families regain hope. We invite everyone who has a desire in their heart to help their loved ones take a step toward freedom,” emphasizes the Cenacolo community.
