Easter haivky held near the cathedral in Kharkiv
During the Easter holidays, children and young people gathered at the Cathedral of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker in Kharkiv to organize haivky. These are primarily students of a catechetical school who have been coming to church twice a week for the past year.
Due to remote education in Kharkiv schools, live meetings in the cathedral provide a valuable opportunity for children and parents to communicate and develop. It is worth noting that parents also participate in the haivky and attend catechesis sessions with their children.
Seminarians of the Drohobych Theological Seminary, who were on missions in Kharkiv, also joined in the Easter fun.
The children arrived at the camp wearing embroidered shirts they had received from residents of Lviv Oblast as part of the Easter Vyshyvaka for Children of War project.
