On the last Saturday of March, marking the third anniversary of Irpin’s liberation from Russian occupation, a traditional spiritual and psychological gathering for the families of fallen soldiers took place. The event was held at the Parish of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary of the UGCC in Irpin.

The press center of the UGCC Department of Military Chaplaincy reported on the event.

The gathering began with a common Divine Liturgy and a memorial service, led by the group’s confessors, Fr. Myroslav Latynnyk and Fr. Vitaliy Voetsa. It continued with a heartfelt conversation between the families of the fallen heroes and the priests.

“It is important to always remember the sacrifice our defenders made and to share their heroic deeds with others. If not for them, we would not have stopped the enemy. Today, we are writing a new chapter in Ukraine’s history—tragically, with the blood of our soldiers. We will never forget our people and our Heroes!” Fr. Vitaliy emphasized.
