His Beatitude Sviatoslav announces the decision of the Synod of Bishops on the calendar reform on Monday
We have finished the Synod. We have made a decision. And we will make them public on Monday. That was the answer the Father and Head of the UGCC, His Beatitude Sviatoslav, gave, answering the calendar reform question, which the Ternopil Medical University students asked him at the meeting on Friday, February 3.
“I want to keep the intrigue alive. But in advance, I want to ask you dearly: listen to your mother’s voice, your Church’s voice! Because there is such a step that we have to take for many reasons. Now is the best time to do it, and we have to do it together. It may cost us a bit. So let us wait till Monday. Then, the whole intrigue will be disclosed,” said the Head of the UGCC.
The decision of the Synod of Bishops of the UGCC in Ukraine regarding the calendar reform will be announced by His Beatitude Sviatoslav on Monday, February 6, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. live on Live TV.
