April 10, 2023, 17:46 83

On April 9, more than 150 believers living in Potsdam and the southwestern outskirts of Berlin, celebrating the entry of our Lord Jesus Christ into Jerusalem, came into the incredibly spacious and beautiful Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in the center of Potsdam and prayed together the first Divine Liturgy.

New Ukrainian pastoral care ministry created in Berlin

On this festive day the parish choir of the Ukrainian community of St. Nicholas in Berlin, under the direction of Mr. Myroslav Fedyna, glorified God with professional and harmonious singing. From now on, every Sunday at noon, the Liturgy will be celebrated in Ukrainian in this church.

In addition to the traditional blessing of the willow branches, the side icons of Jesus Christ and the Blessed Virgin Mary, made by Lviv iconographer Mr. Orest Rabyk, were also consecrated.

Father Serhiy Oliynychuk invites all those thirsty for common prayer and meeting with the Lord in the Holy Mysteries to actively participate in the creation and development of the newly established Greek Catholic pastoral ministry in Potsdam.
