The Head of the UGCC thanked everyone who worked on his video messages throughout a year
On the first anniversary of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine, His Beatitude Sviatoslav, the Father and Head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, thanked everyone who listened to his daily video messages.
“I want to thank everyone who took the time to listen to our video messages every day. Thank you for living, fighting, and praying together during that year. I am grateful to those who listened to our messages regularly and translated them into other languages: English, French, Italian, Spanish, German, and Polish. I also thank those who listened to the voice from Ukraine in different parts of Europe and the world — you heard the truth about Ukraine proclaimed by the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church,” said His Beatitude Sviatoslav.
The Primate said that this format of daily video messages is gradually running out.
“Hence, starting the next year of our struggle,” said the spiritual leader, “we will change our communication flow. We will move on to video reviews that will summarize a certain period. However, we will persist in staying together, praying, working, and striving for victory. Because we know that Russia has already lost.”
The Russian occupier, he noted, has not reached a single goal that he set for himself a year ago. Our army has liberated most of the territories he seized and will release all the rest — liberate our holy Ukrainian land from the destructive presence of the Russian invader. So let us travel together toward victory in an endeavor, prayer, faith in God, and hope for His mercy.
We remind you that the Head of the UGCC has been making video messages to the public every day since February 25, 2022.
