On Tuesday, January 14, 2025, Polish President Andrzej Duda met with representatives of churches and religious organizations, as well as national and ethnic minorities residing in Poland, at the Presidential Palace in Warsaw.

The Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church was represented by Bishop of the Olsztyn-Gdańsk Eparchy Arkadiusz Trochanowski, Protohegumen of the Order of St. Basil the Great Fr. Ihor Harasym, Director of Caritas of the Olsztyn-Gdańsk Eparchy Fr. Bohdan Sytchyk, Chancellor of the Archeparchy of Przemyśl-Warsaw Fr. Mykola Kostetskyi, rector of the Greek Catholic parish in Warsaw Fr. Petro Kushka, Dean of the Warsaw-Lodz Deanery Fr. Bohdan Kruba, as well as Fr. Dmytro Orshuliak and Fr. Volodymyr Rachkovskyi.


During the meeting, the President of Poland expressed gratitude to the participants for accepting the invitation, for 10 years of service, and for the joint meetings held during this time. The President also extended wishes for everyone’s well-being.
