The UGCC Commission on Health Care Pastoral Care has handed over the ambulance to the Turkiv Central City Hospital in Lviv Oblast. This hospital had previously donated its own car to soldiers at the front.

“We are delighted to present this gift to the Turka hospital today — an ambulance that we received from Father Roman Maksymtsiv and his wife, Mrs. Maria Maksymtsiv, from Hanover,” said Sr. Sevastiana Karvatska. “I want to highlight that Father Roman has an incredibly generous heart, as this is not the first vehicle we’ve received through him and transferred to frontline areas and other hospitals.”

The new ambulance will primarily serve individuals with limited mobility and patients in the palliative care unit of the Turkiv Central City Hospital.

Vitaliy Semenkiv, the acting director of the Turkiv Central City Hospital, extended his gratitude to the benefactors on behalf of the medical facility and the community.
