Delegation of the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches Meets with Ukrainian Ambassador to the Czech Republic
On April 2, a delegation from the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations (AUCCRO) met in Prague with Vasyl Zvarych, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Czech Republic.

Representing the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church at the event was Fr. Oleksa Petriv, Head of the UGCC’s Department of External Relations in Ukraine.
During the discussion, the ambassador informed the delegation about Czech initiatives and projects supporting Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression. He also briefed the AUCCRO representatives on the activities and needs of the Ukrainian community in the Czech Republic.
The participants agreed to strengthen communication, particularly in countering Russian propaganda and engaging in joint advocacy at the international level.
The AUCCRO delegation, led by its chairman, Bishop Valeriy Antoniuk of the All-Ukrainian Union of Churches of Evangelical Christians-Baptists, is visiting Prague at the invitation of the Ecumenical Council of Churches of the Czech Republic. The delegation includes representatives from the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, the Roman Catholic Church in Ukraine, the Ukrainian Church of Christians of Evangelical Faith, the Ukrainian Evangelical Church, the Association of Jewish Religious Organizations of Ukraine, the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the Ukrainian Bible Society, and the Institute for Religious Freedom.
