Head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church in Week 234: They Want to Instill in Ukrainians the Temptation That a Horrible End Is Better Than Endless Horror
We must once again find the strength to resist not only the military attacks on Ukraine, but also the information attacks aimed at our souls and hearts. His Beatitude Sviatoslav, Father and Head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, spoke about this in his traditional video address during the 234th week of Russia’s destructive war against Ukraine.
“As Patriarch Josyf Slipyj, a confessor of the faith, once said, rivers of blood flow and a sea of tears is shed in Ukraine, and mountains of corpses tower over the land. Unfortunately, we must not only bring this picture before the Lord in our prayers for help and protection, but also perceive it as a call to pray and work to end this war,” said the Head of the Church.
