His Beatitude Sviatoslav visited the wounded defenders of Ukraine
On Sunday, October 2, the Father and Head of the UGCC, His Beatitude Sviatoslav, visited the Armed Forces soldiers of Ukraine, who are being treated in one of the hospitals in the Ternopil region, and met with the medical staff.
The head of the Church spiritually supported the wounded fighters, presented the boys with spiritual literature and rosaries, and wished them a speedy recovery and victory for Ukraine.
Afterward, the Primate met with the institution’s medical staff, praised the doctors’ work in the hospital’s trauma department, and thanked them for the saved lives.
“Such meetings give us even more strength to work and believe in our victory. I thank His Beatitude Sviatoslav for visiting our patients,” mentioned Olha Yarmolenko, the Director of the Department of Health of Ternopil Regional State Administration.
It is worth noting that His Beatitude Sviatoslav regularly visits soldiers who are being treated in Kyiv medical facilities and tries to support them in every possible way.
