On Saturday, February 22, the Ukrainian Canadian Congress — Saskatoon Branch will organize a Car Rally for Ukraine. The rally will begin at 1:00 PM at Bethlehem Catholic High School (110 Bowlt Crescent, Saskatoon, SK) and will proceed through the city, concluding at 2:30 PM at the Ukrainian Museum of Canada (910 Spadina Crescent East, Saskatoon, SK) for a reception and program featuring Lee Reaney, Editor of Lviv Today. The rally serves as a visible demonstration of ongoing support for Ukraine and its fight for sovereignty and freedom.

On Sunday, February 23, the Musée Ukraina Museum (222 Avenue M South, Saskatoon, SK) will host the opening of the exhibition Destroyed Temples of Ukraine, presented in partnership with Kyiv’s Maidan Museum. This powerful exhibition will be on display from 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM, offering visitors a poignant look at the destruction of Ukraine’s sacred architecture and cultural heritage.

On Monday, February 24, the Prairie Centre for the Study of Ukrainian Heritage and the U of S Ukrainian Students’ Association will host a Vigil at St. Thomas More College Chapel (1437 College Drive, Saskatoon, SK) at 12:30 PM. All are welcome to join in this moment of reflection and remembrance.

Later that day, the Ukrainian Museum of Canada (910 Spadina Crescent East, Saskatoon, SK) will hold a come-and-go gathering from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Visitors are invited to experience the museum’s exhibition, The War That Changes Everything, while enjoying tea, refreshments, and community fellowship. This event provides an opportunity for reflection, connection, and support as we stand with Ukraine on this solemn day.

We invite all members of the community to attend these events, show their support for Ukraine, and come together in solidarity.
