Official Badge for the Jubilee of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church in the Vatican — Entry to St. Peter’s Basilica for the Liturgy
The Organizing Committee for the Jubilee Year of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church has released the official badge that will serve as a pass for the Liturgy at St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican on June 28, 2025.
On that day, the Jubilee of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Basilica, drawing thousands of pilgrims from around the world.
To ensure an orderly entry through the Holy Doors, all pilgrims must have the official Jubilee badge saved on their phones and present it during security checks.
What You Need to Do:
1. Download the image to your phone.
2. Show the badge to the Vatican gendarmerie at security (digital format only — no need to print it). This will help speed up the screening process and ensure smooth access to the basilica.
Pilgrimage Program:
- 10:00 AM — Entry to St. Peter’s Basilica begins from Via della Conciliazione, 2 (known as the “Pilgrim’s Way”).
- 12:45 PM — Meeting with His Holiness, Pope Leo XIV.
- 1:00 PM — Hierarchical Divine Liturgy, presided over by His Beatitude Sviatoslav, and concelebrated by the Synod of Bishops of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church from around the globe. The Liturgy will be accompanied by the Lviv National Academic Male Choir “Dudaryk.”
