Russian Occupiers Destroy Greek Catholic Church in Myrnohrad

On May 28, in the city of Myrnohrad, Donetsk region, the Church of Sts. Peter and Paul of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church was heavily damaged as a result of yet another Russian shelling.

This was reported by the parish rector, Father Ivan Vasylenko, on his Facebook account, where he posted photos of the destroyed shrine.

“Today the Church of Sts. Peter and Paul in Myrnohrad is going through Good Friday. The Muscovites have wounded the shrine. The city is being destroyed by KABs every day,” wrote Fr. Ivan.

The enemy strike hit the churchyard directly, causing significant damage to the church building. As a result of the shelling, all the windows of the church were shattered, the roof sustained serious damage, and the area around the shrine was strewn with debris and ravaged.
