The faithful of Stryi Eparchy raised over two million hryvnias for the national program “Save a Limb”
On April 28, Palm Sunday, Bishop Taras Senkiv, Eparch of Stryi, presided over the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Stryi. After the Divine Liturgy, President of the International Charitable Foundation “Health of the Ukrainian People” Serhiy Soshynsky expressed his gratitude to Bishop Taras and all the faithful of the Stryi Eparchy for their participation in the “Save a Limb” program, which parishes joined in January this year, raised UAH 2 130 105.

“I am very grateful to you, and I want to say that your efforts have already helped to save 50 limbs — 50 of our defenders have kept the limbs that God gave them. Your contribution is unbelievable. Thank you very much,” said Mr. Serhiy.
Bishop Taras thanked Serhiy Soshynsky and all the employees of the foundation for their efforts.
At the end of the Divine Service, Bishop Taras traditionally blessed the branches and sprinkled the faithful with holy water.
