The Patriarchal Foundation of the UGCC “The Wise Cause” supported parishioners of Donetsk Exarchate
As part of its activities, the Patriarchal Foundation “Wise Cause” provided more than two thousand food kits for the parishioners of the Donetsk Exarchate.
The charitable organization’s purpose is to strengthen transformational changes in Ukrainian society and establish a public dialogue regarding forming a general community based on the fundamental values of Christianity. Furthermore, considering the current challenges of military aggression against Ukraine, the Patriarchal Foundation makes efforts to help and support those in need.
Within the humanitarian project’s implementation of food kits, the foundation handed over 2,000 relevant kits to the Donetsk Exarchate. Each parish received the necessary aid and provided its parishioners with food. Parish communities of the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church led by their clergy became the organizers of distributing food kits for the neediest.
“We sincerely thank the Patriarchal Foundation, ‘The Wise Cause,’ for the support! In particular, those parishes located in the territories affected by the war. Your charity warms souls and hearts, instills hope and faith in the best” — note the organizers of the charity event in the Donetsk Exarchate of the UGCC.
The Patriarchal Foundation “Wise Cause” is implementing a project to create food kits thanks to the support of caring benefactors. This way, aid is directed to parish communities of the UGCC throughout Ukraine.
