Update on Health of Wounded Chaplain, Father Igor Tabaka
The priest of the Kharkiv Exarchate, military chaplain Fr. Igor Tabaka, is in the hospital with a shrapnel wound after an enemy shelling.
This was reported by the press service of the Kharkiv Exarchate of the UGCC.
On Sunday of the Veneration of the Holy Cross, Exarch of Kharkiv Bishop Vasyl Tuchapets visited the chaplain, administered the Holy Communion, and the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick for the healing of body and soul, wishing him a speedy recovery.
Father Igor is feeling better and is grateful for everyone’s prayers and words of support. The surgery has been postponed for now, as doctors advise him to wait for his wounds to heal. “Please continue to remember Father Igor in your prayers so that he recovers as soon as possible and returns to his ministry,” Bishop Vasyl urged.
