The UGCC temple in the Donetsk region was destroyed during shelling
In the Donetsk Exarchate of the UGCC, the Church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos in the village of Verkhnyokamyanske, located on the line of contact, was seriously damaged during enemy shelling.
As a result of a projectile hitting the church, one of the domes was destroyed, and the interior and facade were partially destroyed. The surrounding area was severely damaged. In addition, the cross in the parish yard was destroyed.
It is worth noting that the Church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos is one of the first in the Donetsk Exarchate. It was built in the early 90s of the last century. Since 1991, father Mykola Kretsul, who recently passed away after a long serious illness, served in the parish of the village of Verkhnokamyanske and nearby towns.
Today, the village is on the front line, where battles are raging.
